Hi Stanislav,

I don’t really follow this example, I don’t see any tooltips, I tried setting enabled to true, no change, I even commented out the tooltip and label properties and still there was no change in the chart.

My problem is that some of my values are close together and I am trying to find a way to keep the labels from overlapping. I did not see a way to move the labels, but I thought I may be able to have more control over tooltips. Do you have any suggestions?

Hello joffreyj,

In the example you need to add visible: true, to be able to see the tooltip.
With the jqxBarGauge’s ‘tooltip’ options you cannot make the tooltips always visible, you have to hover over them.

There is another option if you use our widget jqxToolTip, it has an in-built function to auto open when the page loads.
$('#jqxTooltip').jqxTooltip('open');
