Insert column and Large data in a cell

Hi, I have two questions.

1. Can I insert a column into the grid dynamically?
2. If a cell contains large data. The content may be a string whose length is about 200. How to show the content? Is it possible to show the whole content when the mouse hover on this cell?

Hello yuanru,

1. You can follow this approach: http://www.jqwidgets.com/community/topic/how-to-insert-and-delete-column/#post-55837 or you can update the grid’s columns property (array) dynamically.
2. You can use a tooltip to show the large data on mouse hover. Here is an example: http://www.jqwidgets.com/community/topic/grid-tooltip/#post-46399.
