Hi
I have a table of books that I am reading and want to write commentary on each. Therefore one column of my table is for comments resulting in a long text string. Is there a way of wrapping that text inside the input box (from the dialogue data edit widget) either as text area or text box type when re-visiting the particular row?

Hello mattbastin,

You could integrate jqxInput or jqxTextArea.
I would suggest you look at this “Custom Editors” demo.

Also, I would like to suggest you one alternative with jqxGrid. There you could edit columns in separate Window.
