Tell what are the Jqwidget controls which supports enableBrowserBoundsDetection property?
As of now we have implemented for dropdown control and its working fine.
We need to implement the same for Menu and Context menu controls.
waiting for the reply…… Thanks in advance
Hello Iyanar k,
Unfortunately, jqxMenu does not support browser bounds detection. However, you can manually change the open direction, as shown in the demo Open Direction.
Apart from jqxDropDownList, widgets that support browser bounds detection are jqxDateTimeInput, jqxDropDownButton and jqxTooltip.
Is enableBrowserBoundsDetection on the roadmap for jqxmenu? We are using it as a context menu for jqxgrid and the menu opens outside the browser bounds when the user is clicking on one of the lower rows in the grid. If we change the direction to ‘up’, then the user will have a similar problem when clicking on one of the upper rows in the grid. Is there a technique for setting the direction dynamically?
Unfortunately, jqxMenu browser bounds detection is currently not on our Roadmap. However, there is an existing workaround for your requirement that has been presented in the following forum topic: http://www.jqwidgets.com/community/topic/position-of-context-menu/. We hope this solution is helpful to you.
