Dynamically Enabling edit for few columns which are by default editable false

Hi Team,

I have a requirement where I am binding data from the server to my angular 4 tree grid, Let’s say 10 out of 20 columns are marked editable false for default, But when I add a new row I need to make those 10 columns also editable only for that new row. Kindly suggest if any events I can trigger for this.

Hi Sandeep,

You must enable these columns to be editable, edit the row and then disable the edit.

Hi Ivo,

only in new row case, I want them enabled, rest other cases default they should be disabled. apart from the new row i should not allow user to edit any other rows.

Some info about the Grid API by me. There is a method called “setcolumnproperty”. This method can be used for the purpose to dynamically update the column’s editable property.
