Hi Jqx Team,
I am trying to add some daily recurring appointments in the JqxScheduler. When I add the first item, it works perfectly fine but the second and so forth recurring entries are showing -1 day in the Calendar. This issue is even reproducible in the Default functionality demo of JqxScheduler.
Is this something by design or Am I doing something wrong? Kindly advice.

Zeeshan AhmedHello Zeeshan,
Please share a jsfiddle/codepen example demonstrating the reported issue, so that we may determine what causes it.

https://www.jqwidgets.comHi Todor,
Thanks for your swift response. I didnt provide the JSFiddle cause its not required actually. You can just use the Default functionality demo of The Scheduler to reproduce the issue. Kindly follow the following steps to recreate the issue.
1) Add one daily recurring appoinment ranging from any date to any date(E.g 21st july to 27th july). This will work as expected.
2) Now add one more daily recurring appointment for the same dates that you selected in the fist step but you will see that the added apointments in the Calendar will be one day less. In this case, it will 21st july to 26th july instead of 27 july. If you keep adding more recurring appointments, you will get the same behavior, only the first one works fine.
I hope this will clarify the issue. Thanks.

Zeeshan Ahmed
Hello Zeeshan,
We’ve tried to reproduce the reported behavior, but it works fine by our side. We’ve used the default functionality demo as you suggested and when two recurring appointments are set with same date, they are showing as expected.
What version do you use and on what device?

https://www.jqwidgets.comHello Todor,
Thanks for responding. I am also using the same demo link you have mentioned but getting a different behavior.
I am using it on my laptop and Chrome as the browser and version shouldn’t really matter cause it is reproduced from your demo link.
I am not sure If it is an issue with my understanding of how it works or something else. When I create any daily recurring appointments after the first appointment, it minuses one day from it always but doesn’t do it for the first appointment.
Is there any way I can show you whats happening?
Regards,
Zeeshan AhmedHello Zeeshan,
You could do a video or few screenshots on your appointments settings.

https://www.jqwidgets.comHi Todor,
Thanks for the response. Is there any workaround for this? If not, then do you have time line in mind that how much time will it take to be fixed?
Regards,
Zeeshan AhmedHello Zeeshan,
We work on different tasks with a different priority therefore I cannot tell how much time it will take. You could keep an eye on our Release History for more information.
Let us know if you need further assistance.

https://www.jqwidgets.comHi Todor,
Its been more than a month since this issue has been reported. Is there any chance for the new release to be released this week?
Regards,
Zeeshan AhmedHi,
I saw there was a new Release a couple of days ago but this issue has not fixed in that Release. May I ask when this will be resolved?
Regards,
Zeeshan AhmedHello Zeeshan Ahmed,
We work on a lot of tasks with different priority as my colleague mentioned already.
Unfortunately, we cannot engage with a deadline when this will be fixed.
You could check the progress of this in the GitHub.
Also, if you want you could contact directly with us for some custom request on “support@jqwidgets.com“.
Thank you for your understanding.Best Regards,

https://www.jqwidgets.comHi Hristo,
Big Thanks for your response. I can see that the issue has been fixed on GitHub but it doesn’t seem to be fixed in your 8.3.2 Release and it is also not mentioned in the Release notes.
May I ask why this fix was not included in the latest Release? This issue is kind of important for us because we will take a decision to buy the License based on this. I would really appreciate your kind response on this.

Zeeshan AhmedHi Zeeshan,
When you open https://www.jqwidgets.com/jquery-widgets-demo/demos/jqxscheduler/defaultfunctionality.htm?light and create a recurring appointment in the same week lets say starting 1st December, Ends 7th December. Then do the same again for a new appointment and everything is OK with the current version 8.3.2. Yes, the issue in GitHub is closed, because according to us it is resolved. The case of adding 2 appointments 21 to 27 july which you wrote in this forum thread is working OK now and was not with the previous version. If we are missing something in the testing here, then please share a full example in jsfiddle, stackblitz or similar. We also don’t know when you were able to download and test with 8.3.2, because it was released 5 minutes ago.
