columngroup height

now I’m using ‘columnsheight’ property for increase column header height.
but this property increase columngroup height too..

It is possible to set columngroup’s height?

HI vv9863,

The ‘columnsheight’ property sets the height of all column headers. There is not a specific Grid property for setting the column group headers height.

We have not implemented this. All our Grids – jqxGrid and Smart.Grid use the same height for all the columns. It this feature important for your application or a show stopper?

Thanks for confirming quickly.
It’s not a show stopper, but it looks silly.
I have a few multi header grids using columnsgroup.
Some headers need multiple rows to be displayed entirely, which forces me to increase the columnsheight setting.
As a work around now, I play around with the font size, but there’s a limit to what this can achieve…

Hi jb,

We are currently working on adding a variable which determines the height of column groups so it would be possible to have different size for columns and column groups. We’ll be adding this in the Smart.Grid for now.
