The methods checkItem, uncheckItem, and indeterminateItem do not toggle the item’s checkbox when filtering is enabled and a filter is in place.

See the below fiddle for confirmation.

1) Toggle Breve (note success)
2) Toggle Filterable (note filter box)
3) Toggle Breve (note success)
4) Set filter to ‘Br’
5) Toggle Breve (note failure)
