    Hello, is there any way to not use the jqwidgets editors and instead use Select2? Select2 has some features that are very important, such as search and pagination.

    I am trying to set to dropdownlist as the type but it will not render the Select2 object properly.

    Hello mcfloyd,

    You can use custom cell editors if you wish. An example is shown in the demo Custom Column Editor. We do not have examples with third-party UI controls, though.
