we are using grid for mobile.. and want to use doubletap for cell events.. any idea how to do that ?
If you wish to edit grid cells on doubletap, please try setting editmode to ‘dblclick’. You may also need to disable the default zooming on doubletap as shown here: http://stackoverflow.com/a/4472910.
i have to show popup on doubletap event of cell..how do i register for that event ?
A dblclick event binding may work on some touch devices, but for a general solution, you can try the following suggestion: https://forum.jquery.com/topic/doubletap-event#14737000003151133. Once you have handled the event, the jqxGrid method getcellatposition (example) may be useful to you.
