Autosize single column

Hi!
I’m currently evaluating your grid, and it looks very good so far…

Two questions regarding column-sizing:

1) Is it possible to AutoSize a single column (or a set of columns) instead of autosizing ALL columns?
2) Can I mix percentage widths and fixed pixel widths? (Aka, first resolve fixed-width-columns, then distribute the remaining space between the percentage-width-columns)

Hello Jon,

1) There is a method called autoresizecolumn, which can be used to resize only one column (example: http://jsfiddle.net/jqwidgets/VLs2r/).

Thank you for a very quick response!
This is excellent news!

I’m also having some issues with autosizing when I have custom contents in the cells (inserted by overriding the defaultHtml in a cellsrenderer-function). It looks like the content is beeing clipped when autosizing, for some reason… Please see the image.

Is there anything special I must concider when auto-resizing columns With custom contents?

I’m suspecting the either margins or paddings in the cell-contents are messing up the autosizing…?
